The Brotherhood of Christians In An Evolving World
How we view our Christian brothers and sisters outside the American bubble.

Throughout my life, I've always been taught to treat others with respect; and all life is precious. I've also been told how important the United States of America is in the grand scheme of things. I never fully understood what this meant until I became an adult, and I made friends with refugees. It is almost as if we Americans live in a bubble, and we do not know how the rest of the world truly is.
I have several friends who are former military, one person whom I've known since high school and is a good close personal friend has told me a lot of his stories. His exact words are, "the rest of the world is a shithole…" when compared to the west.
I often ask myself, how can this be in 2025? But in reality when you think about it, what are we truly promised? Only in America, not even in Europe, do we have things like freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, and habeas corpus. There truly is something special about this place we live in. How do we keep it that way?
A researcher made an astounding discovery once. His name was William Cooper. He said something one time that absolutely amazed me. He was also right. You protect your own rights and liberties by protecting the rights and liberties of those who you disagree with. This keeps the wheels of America spinning. It keeps it in motion. As long as it has not stopped, you will always be protected. However, if the one you disagree with does not do the same, your beliefs will eventually be overrun.
What is our number one instruction after becoming a Christian? To direct others to Christ of course. Right? What I've learned in my own journey in this fallen world is people and their beliefs change. As time progresses, people are filled with thought. How can people's thoughts change when they are constantly engaged in confrontation?
In fact, the apostle Paul presented this very eloquently in the book of Romans. We do not change ourselves. The holy spirit changes us. In fact, Romans 12:2 emphasizes the importance of renewing your mind so it can be transformed. How is this done? It's done through the evolution of thought. As you grow older, your mind changes if you are a humble person.
What is faith, and how does it play a role in this ever evolving fallen world we call human society? We can have faith in many things. In fact most people put faith and hope in personal things, other people, but faith and hope in God is waning. Or at least I thought it was waning, until I met my refugee families.
If anyone in this world has any human reason to be angry at God, it would be these people. They've been persecuted, threatened with death, beaten, spit on, and left alone in the dust of time. No one wants them, yet I have never found a people with so much faith in God. Their faith and hope in God can move mountains.
I truly feel at home with these people, yet I am not a refugee. Why do you think this is? Why do I feel more loved and the feeling of family with these people? I often ask myself this question. Honestly, I think it is because God directed me here. God put me here to be with these people. They are my people. They are our people, if you are truly a Christian.
Now we have seen the world turn upside down and bend hand over fist to help refugees over the last 10 years. The majority of these refugees are in fact Muslim who traversed our world without obeying the laws of the host countries. They simply walked from country to country. All of the walls and fences which were tore down by the end of the cold war have now been re-erected tenfold due to the influx of people migration. Due to this, what was becoming a free world has now taken one hundred steps back towards global communism.
What about the Christian refugees? The majority of them remain in their host country, awaiting deliverance by their maker to a safe and hospitable environment, because they have a desire to follow the rules. They wait in places like Turkey and Lebanon; countries that are predominantly Muslim. They are constantly having to look over their shoulder to stay safe. They are good wholesome people with families who worship the same God as you and I. These are our global family, our brothers and sisters. Now, time is running out. Their time to flee is about to end, and the world does nothing. In the gospel of John Chapter 17, Jesus Christ makes clear distinction between those of the world and those who belong to him. He makes a clear promise that the world hates his own, because we are not of this world. Though Paul demonstrated that creation awaits it's return to a glorious status with the groans of what he calls birth pains. We must also wait.
I encourage each and every one of you that read this, look up what happens to a Muslim that converts to another religion, in the Middle East.
Time is short, and the hour is near. But I promise you, my family out there, you are not forgotten. You are in our prayers every day. We love you. Yeshua loves you. We are all fighting for you. Our family is so beautiful. Never forget you have the blood of Christ flowing through your veins. You have royal blood. Our King keeps his promises.
